Jeanette started her New York career working alongside her inspiration and later mentor, restaurateur and designer Serge Becker. She later headed as the design director for hospitality group Neighborhood Projects, owned and operated by restaurateur Matt Abramcyk. Later she worked as the creative director of New York design studio No Vacancy. In 2016, partnering with Lukas Didon, she founded the hospitality design studio BYBLACK, a design studio focusing on conceptual bar, -restaurant and hotel design for an international market.
Inspired by the undone, the unseen and everything that is yet to be accomplished, the signatures and main focus of her work is creating unique spatial designs with custom details from the bones up. Operational aesthetics as seamless concepts.
